COMPETITORS INSTRUCTIONS:

• LOCATION: Abingdon Head 2026 venue is at Wilsham Road's Abingdon, Army Rowing and Sailing clubs. Post code: OX14 5LD
• All competitors must park in designated car park. Abingdon Rugby Club (OX14 5TJ) Parking cost £5/car proceeds will go towards the Abingdon Rugby club fundraiser. (Parking is limited please consider car share where possible).
  

Abingdon Rowing Club Spring Head 2026 will be held on Sunday 12th of April 2026. The event this year will be held same as last year from the Abingdon Rowing club and in cooperation with neighbor Army rowing club and Abingdon Sailing Club at Wilsham road. Abingdon Head is raced on the 2000m upstream course on the river Thames from below the Culham reach towards the St. Helen's Wharf in Abingdon town centre . Due to change of the venue the event will be downsized to 3 Divisions with 50 entries per division from usual 4 division event. 
With limited trailer space - we require full trailers or group trailering or strongly suggested for local clubs to put boats on provided racking space, evening before the event.

Entry fees are unchanged 15 per seat. Entries aimed to open at BROE on Monday February 26th, 2026.

Racing and categories are over Divisions. Due to downsizing mainly for doubles and fours
