Abingdon Rowing Club has received a grant from the Local Network Fund to purchase a new safety launch and associated safety equipment. This will be used by the juniors’ coach in accompanying young people learning to row on the Thames in Abingdon.

The Fund is a government initiative supporting small voluntary and community groups working with children and young people under the age of 19. This is the twenty-second round of Local Network Fund grants that have been administered by the Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
