Abingdon Rowing Club's Women's Squad is going from strength to strength. The past year has seen a huge boost in numbers and a signficant increase in the number and quality of head and regatta wins. 2007 saw Abingdon's first representations at Henley Women's Regatta which culminated in a final placing in the Lightweight Women's Single Sculls. Other wins were recorded at Gloucester, Bedford and Abingdon Heads and Poplar, Loughborough and Oxford City Regattas.

 Abingdon Rowing Club has a successful and competitive Veteran's rowing squad whch is regarded as one of the strongest in the UK – in 2007 they achieved a collection of wins at Regattas and Head Races including wins at the National Veterans Championships and Veterans Regatta Henley.
